Thinking Outside The Box
When planning a corporate event, it can be easy to focus on the agenda, with things like venue sourcing simply becoming just a practical decision. You likely need ease of access, proximity to the office, a projector and somewhere to gather for refreshments. We agree with those necessities, however, urge companies to think outside the box a little.
The most successful corporate events aren’t defined by the presentations or the minutes. They’re remembered for the conversations that happened afterwards, the ideas sparked by a change of scenery and the moments that brought people together in unexpected ways.
That’s exactly what made hosting the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) East AGM such a rewarding experience. As an organisation dedicated to supporting landowners and rural businesses, the CLA brought together members from across Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties for a day of discussion, collaboration and shared purpose. It was an opportunity to create an event that reflected both the organisation and the landscape it exists to support.
